Château Patris

Located on the southern side of the Saint-Emilion slopes abutting Angélus, this 9 hectare property was acquired by present owners Genevieve and Michel Querre in 1967. The estate has outstanding sun exposure, naturally sheltered from cold North winds and the chalk and clay soil work together to create a fantastic terroir for the grapes to grow.

Description

The care and effort put into Château Patris is second to none. Leaves are thinned regularly and when ready to pick, the grapes are placed into small crates to avoid bruising. The grapes are crushed and fermented at 20 °c-32 °c in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in new oak barrels before being bottled on the estate.
